Sad news indeed.
He was only with us briefly but a real class player and a proper finisher. I think his wife never settled in the UK which is why he returned home.
A favourite player for many of us back then.

Terrible news. Those years starting from the 1980 FA Cup win up to 85-86 season are my happiest as a West Ham fan as I grew from the ages of 8 to 14.
RIP, shows you that you don't need to be with us for 20 years to be fondly remembered.
